Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SEEAT.app LTD. ("Company," "we," "us," "our") regarding access to and use of seeat.app (the "Service"). By accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
2. Our Services
SEEAT.app provides a platform for discovering restaurants with available seats, managing restaurant seat availability, push notifications to followers, and a built-in reservation system. Restaurant seat data is user-reported and may not always be accurate. SEEAT.app is not responsible for the accuracy of seat availability information.
3. Restaurant Accounts
Restaurants may register by claiming a Google Maps listing. SEEAT.app attempts Google Business Profile verification at registration but does not guarantee it. Unverified accounts may still use the Service but will be marked as unverified. Restaurants are solely responsible for the accuracy of seat counts they report, and for any external API keys they create.
4. Points System and Payments
Restaurants purchase points to send push notifications to followers and to accept reservations. Points are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as Merchant of Record. All purchases are final — points are non-refundable and expire 12 months after purchase. Points are deducted at the time of sending a notification or confirming a reservation booking.
5. Built-in Reservation System
SEEAT.app's built-in reservation system connects users and restaurants but does not guarantee reservation fulfilment. SEEAT.app is not a party to the reservation agreement and bears no responsibility for no-shows, restaurant closures, or other issues. Points charged for confirmed reservations are not refunded upon cancellation.
Reservation acceptance is automatically suspended when a restaurant's point balance falls below the threshold required to cover the cost of a reservation. Restaurants are responsible for maintaining sufficient points.
6. Push Notifications
Users who favourite a restaurant may opt in to push notifications from that restaurant. Restaurants pay points per subscriber per notification. Notification delivery is not guaranteed; SEEAT.app makes no warranty regarding delivery rates or timing.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and code in the Service are owned by SEEAT.app LTD. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
8. Prohibited Activities
- Posting false or misleading seat availability
- Scraping or bulk-downloading restaurant or user data
- Circumventing authentication or security measures
- Using the Service for spam, harassment, or illegal purposes
9. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEEAT.APP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
10. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL SEEAT.app LTD. BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD 50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SEEAT.app LTD. is incorporated. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after the "Last updated" date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
